Maaan, I hate working evenings. It should be enjoyable. But it’s lonely, and I don’t get enough sleep. After finishing work around 11 PM, I spend hours watching Netflix, playing Sims 4 and (on good nights) reading books. Sometimes I annoy myself purple reading comment sections online, and I once found myself in a vertigo of belly dancing videos on Youtube.
Then I go to bed when other people get up, and hate life when I wake up in the afternoon, after slumbering my phone alarm for ever – not feeling rested.
I used to think I’m a B-person. Turns out I just love sleeping more than waking up early.
Tonight, I decided to have a walk under the midnight sun. The grey weather of the last weeks kind of made me forget the magic of living up north.
I enjoyed the bright night with my camera (Sony A7III), feeling kind of sneaky while photographing the houses in the neighborhood. If anyone saw me, they might have assumed I was planning a robbery. But all was quiet.
Hoe easily my absence from this blog can be explained: I got a new phone for my birthday! Hurray for Phony! And suddenly I didn’t need to drag my heavy camera around with me. A phone is more than sufficient for capturing everyday moments. Which I’ve been doing and posting on my tumblr-playground here.
Four parks in two days! We’re talking blisters, rain and a lot of fun. I wish I could do it all over again! There were lines, of course, but the rain must have kept the masses down. The only places with unbearably long waiting time were the nice restaurants – eatable food is hard to find in Disney World. Luckily it’s possible to run on Disney Magic fuel for while.
I wish I had taken more pictures, but I was busy acting like a five year old. Unfortunately ‘Transform to a Disney Princess’ was only available for the small kids between 3-12. I couldn’t fool the castle guard.

You could call the whole Haiti that – a world within the world. Yet this is a country with vast differences, the world you see solely depends on where you are. And I’m happy to have been to the Seguin area, and Park La Visite, a national park that’s just so… so… :
I found a big rock 😀

nursery for new trees
misty and lunar
And Fondation Seguin definitely deserves a big THANKS for trying to protect this magical area, and for bringing me up there 🙂
