Atlantic Ocean Road (Norway)
In 2005 the Norwegian people voted Atlanterhavsveien as «Norway’s Construction of the Century» … More info in Norwegian, English and German can be found at this site, the following map was also found there 😉
Great shots!!!
This just made me miss Norway. Hammerfest and an old friend in particular.
Thanks for sharing!
Cool photographs!!
Wow, that really is an incredible construction. I want to drive it now 🙂
Wonderful, I hope to see it myself one day, looks like heaven (the pragmatic, Scandinavian way 😉 ).
The map really gives you an understanding of the scale of the project engineering wise. The photographs show the incredible beauty.
Reblogged this on Something to Ponder About.
Beautiful, feel almost there…!
I am not surprised they voted that way. It looks magnificent.
Lovely pictures showing curves of clouds in the first picture, curve of the bridge in the second and curve of the road in the third.
Beautiful mornings. Thanks for the like of my Weekly Photo Challenge post “Layers”.
Wow – what a splendid view! Would be break-taking to see in person.
That is too cool! I bet that road is super fun to be on in storms! The closest to that I’ve ever seen just crosses a spit in the town of Purdy. (it’s a one stop light town)
Speechless!
That’s a big WOW!!
Flott. Jeg har lyst til å kjøre den veien, men har ikke fått gjort det enda..
